The Ohio State University CEARC

32,850 square foot greenhouse project for hydroponic food production research. This Venlo style greenhouse is the first research greenhouse in North America with an ETFE film roof with high UV and PAR light transmittance.  The greenhouse range provides research on vine crops, strawberry production, and deep water pond production of leafy greens.  The project includes BSL-2P capable research compartments. Still being constructed with an estimated cost of $25M.
